Our take
This CL50E is similar to the Ultra but at a slightly lower price. The 1.5 hp motor is strong, and the two discs are adequate for most slicing and shredding tasks. It's built like a tank and processes quickly. However, the single speed is limiting, and the machine is quite noisy. At $3,038, it's still a big investment. I wish it came with more discs or a variable speed option. For high-volume kitchens it's great, but for occasional use, it's overkill.
